So, I've been rather remiss at updating my 2010 progress. Mostly, my serious lack of time/energy is due to the fact that I am interning at an accounting firm for TAX SEASON...the two most dreaded words for any accountant. Just mention "tax" and "season" in the same sentence and look around to find the people that cringe, then you know you've found an accountant. It really isn't all too bad, but my brain is being challenged in ways I didn't know were possible. You never really learn enough in the classroom to prepare you for "real life."
Unfortunately my internship is not the only growing up happening in my life. May looms just around the corner, which brings college graduation and grad school. SCARY. I'm also learning to deal with difficult situations in a more adult, Christ-like manner.
Overall, life is good. My brain is tired. My nails are growing. My waist-line is sustaining. My sewing/crocheting/knitting learning is postponed. My roadtrip is still pending. My caffiene addiction is a must. My cookbooks are dust-collectors. My birthday calendar is filled-in. My friends are patient. And lastly, growing up is hard.
